The paper introduces the definition of green building materials,illustrates basic standards needing following in estimating green build-ing materials,analyzes green building material application status including green wall materials,green glass,green ecological cement and so on, and finally points out that：the development trend of domestic green building materials has significant meaning for building sustainable and re-sources-saving society.
