Introduction was made to the issues of the small current grounding line selection device in the aspects of allocation quantity, infrastructure construction acceptance check, operation and maintenance management, extended service and so on. This paper analyzed the reasons why the small current grounding line selection device often failed to fully play an important role when the power grid broke down. This paper proposed the treatment scheme of the small current grounding line selection device in access network, engineering design, debug-ging and acceptance, operation and maintenance etc, which guarantees the power distribution reliability.
