摘要
大学英语四级和六级中的段落翻译主要是考察学生能否用英语流畅地表达原文的意思,但在考试当中,大部分学生因为错译、漏译、表达欠佳、理解有误等原因致使翻译失分,严重影响学生的综合成绩。本文在分析学生失分原因的同时,结合自身教学实践,探寻相应的解题技巧和教学策略,以提高学生的汉英翻译能力。
The purpose of paragraph translation in College English Test Band 4 or Band 6 is to examine w hether non‐English majors could smoothly and correctly express the meanings of the original texts .However ,most of the students lose their points in the exam because of w rong translations , missing translations , poor expressions and misunderstandings , etc , which has a serious impact on students’ total scores .The paper aims to explore the corre‐sponding skills and teaching strategies in order to improve the students’ Chinese‐English translation ability based on the reason analyses and teaching practices .
