In accordance with the characteristics of ＂Discrete Mathematics＂ and the problems reflected in students＇ learning process, this paper studies the innovative teaching methods of ＂Discrete Mathematics＂. It aims to enhance students＇ enthusiasm in learning based on teachers＇ instruction. The main methods are as follows： focusing on teaching strategies, increasing extracurric- ular practice and adding the application of ＂Discrete Mathematics＂ in frontier studies of computer. Through these methods, students will make clear the importance and application background, improve their enthusiasm in learning, and enhance their mastery and understanding of the basic content of the course.
