摘要
英语基本味觉词"sweet"是典型的多义词,其一词多义现象的产生与我们的认知识解密切相关。通过隐喻识解,味觉词"sweet"可出现跨感知域的词义衍生,如由味觉感知义向听觉感知义、视觉感知义或心理感知义的衍生。通过侧显识解,味觉词"sweet"可出现同一感知域内的词义衍生,如心理感知域内的形容词义向名词义的衍生。
The Engfish basic taste term "sweet" is a typical polysemy, and its polysemization is closely related to the cognitive construal of the conceptulizer. With the construal of metaphor, "sweet" is polysemized across the domains, such as the polysemization from the domain of gustatory perception to the domain of audi- tory perception, visual perception, mental perception, and so on. With the construal of profiling, "sweet" is polysemized within the same domain, such as the polysemization from the descriptive sense to the substantive sense within the domain of mental perception.
