明释传灯《观无量寿佛经图颂》小考

A Study on Chuandeng's Diagram Praise on the Amitayur-buddha-dhyāna-sūtra

传灯是明代中兴天台宗的重要佛学思想家。在他的著述中,有《观无量寿佛经图颂》一卷。原本已佚,现存版本之间皆有内容层次上的差异。比较这些版本,参考传灯和天台宗一贯的思想,可以考定传灯之本的原貌,清初张文嘉翻刻本的真实状态,以及由此见出后来各种刻本的继承与所作的改变。

Diagram Praise on the Amitayur-buddha-dhyāna-sūtra was written by Chuandeng,an important Buddhist thinker of T'ien-t'ai-tsung Buddhism in Ming dynasty. The original work is lost while there are differences among its exisiting versions. Comparing these versions under the guidance of Chuandeng's thought and T'ien-t'ai-tsung,we can reconstruct the original work,present the variations of the later works and apprecate the early Qin dynasty's Zhang Wenjia version.
