Study on Transition of Core Authors of Yenching Journal of Chinese Studies

核心作者群建设是学术期刊应对办刊内外环境变动、保持出版质量的重要影响因素。近年来关于核心作者群的研究多侧重于共时性,却忽略了历时性。事实上,历时性的分析更有助于对办刊活动的梳理和对长远发展的规划。以史为鉴,创刊于1927年的《燕京学报》迭经核心作者群的变迁,却能够在出版最后一期时"无衰落"地退出历史舞台,其背后的编辑理念和行为至今仍有重要的参考价值。

The construction of core authors is one key influential factor for academic journals to deal with the change of the internal and external environment in operation and maintain publication quality. Recently, the studies on core authors have attached more emphasis on synchronicity rather than diachronicity. Actually, the diachronic analysis is of more significance to arrange the operation ac- tivities and plan the future development. Taking history as a mirror, Yenching Journal of Chinese Studies was established in 1927. After the changes of the core authors again and again, it left the historical stage without decline in the last issue. Therefore, its editorial ideas and actions are of great ref-erence value up to now.
