Chinese Culture of Support with the Core of "the Ethic of Responsibility" ——Based on the Perspective of Culture and Function

养老文化是一社会对需要供养和照顾的老人之经济供养和生活照料的态度和价值理念,这种态度和理念体现为该社会对此的制度安排和伦理观念,是社会不同年龄群体在养老方面的行为规范和观念共识。在中国,养老文化以"责任伦理"为核心,是因为在"家本位文化"的主导下,家族绵延在中国人的心目中是一个永远不可改变的"情结",基于这样的情结使得他们永远不忘自己对儿孙的责任。这就是"责任伦理"的社会基础。

The culture of support is the attitude and value ideas of the society about economical providing and life caring for aged people who need such providing and caring. Such attitude and idea embody themselves in the institutional arrangement and ethical sense of the society for the support, and it will become the norm of behavior and the idea shared by all the people in the society about support. In China, the culture of support takes ＂the ethic of responsibility＂ as the core, because Chinese culture is the one which regards family as the essential, such culture gives impact on the Chinese people and make them takes the family continuation as the most important thing and make it be the complex which is never unchangeable in their mind.h is the complex that lets them never forget the responsibility for their children. This is the social base of the ethic of responsibility.
