Micro-course or micro-class, emphasizes the shortness and integrity of teaching plan and ob- ject, which not only features in the direct and convenient methods to acquaint knowledge and focuses on indi- vidualized learning and the improvement and cultivation of learner＇ s abilities of automatic learning as well. The investigation is designed to study the current application of micro-lecture in College English Courses for non-English majors in depth. It focuses on the following five aspects, the definition of micro-course, the ap- plication of micro-course, the problems-to-be-solved including the software ones and those of hardware as well as the survey and development of mlcro-course.
