This paper restudies The Bluest Eye from the perspective of literary ethical criticism, and mainly analyzes the American Blacks alienated by the mainstream society and their ethical value. It also reveals ＂Sphinx factor＂ in Cholly, and explores Pauline＇s ethical choices during her life.
