摘要 化学生物学课程是一门新兴的课程,其课程内容涉及海量小分子的筛选和生物活性研究,公共数据库对加速研究过程起到辅助性作用。在教学中引入生物检测研究BARD数据库内容,其提供接入到美国国立健康研究院NIH启动的分子文库项目产生的生物检测数据中。新数据可以通过一系列用户友好型工具投递到BARD数据库中,研究人员也可以利用其中发表的数据。同时,第三方开发人员可以使用应用程序界面制作独立工具或插件整合到BARD数据库中。BARD的工具套件可以满足数据发表者、用于可检验的假设的数据发掘者和工具开发人员。 Chemical biology is a new course for China's colleges whose core content is to identify small molecule compounds and their activities to biological system, and pubic database can help to accelerate its study. BioAssay Research Database (BARD) is a public database developing tools to provide access to bioassay data produced by the NIH Molecular Libraries Program (MLP). New data can be submitted to BARD with a user-friendly set of tools. The published data can be accessed by researchers, and the third-party developers wishing to create new tools can use the application program interface to produce stand-alone tools or new plug-ins that can be integrated into BARD. The BARD suite of tools can support both the data publishers and data miners for testable hypotheses, as well as the developers for developing tools.
