FRP pipe is one kind of new-type pipeline that is used more in oilfield gathering and transportation engineering in recent years,it has excellent physical properties,hydraulic characteristics,resistance to chemical attack and other advantages,these advantages make it more suitable than steel pipeline to oilfield gathering and transportation engineering. This article took a brief discussion on the application of FRP instead of steel pipeline in oilfield gathering and transportation engineering.
