Population Dynamics of Quercus variabilis on Mount Zijinshan

采用样地调查法对南京紫金山栓皮栎种群年龄结构进行分析并编制静态生命表。结果表明：该种群的年龄结构呈衰退型，V级大树所占的比例最高，I级幼苗次之，Ⅳ级立木第三；种群的存活曲线趋近于Deevey Ⅱ型，种群存在一定的波动性，胸径0～10 cm的数量最多，有较高的死亡率；胸径10～40 cm的数量相对稳定，死亡率较低；胸径40 cm以上的数量较少，有较高死亡率。

Using sample plot investigation method,the age structure and static life table of population of Q.variabilis on Mount Zijins-han in Nanjin were analysed.The results showed that the age structure of population was declining.Age class V had the highest pro-portion,while class I andⅣfollowed;the type of survival curve was deeveyⅡ.The population existed some volatility.A large num-ber of DBH from 0 cm to 10 cm,but the mortality rate was relatively high;DBH from 10 cm to 40 cm were relatively stable;above 40 cm had the higher mortality rate.
