英国斯特林大学课堂中合作教学的有效运用

Effective application of cooperative learning in English classes in University of Stirling in U.K.

目前,传统的英语教学法仍然充斥着大学英语课堂。相比较传统的教学法,合作教学更能创设出动态的课堂。通过对英国斯特林大学语言中心的两个案例,发现教师采用合作教学模式更能激发学生的学习兴趣,给学生提供一个交际环境,让学生投入到学习活动中,提高各项英语技能。该研究对国内大学英语课堂中课程的设计和组织有一定借鉴意义。

Nowadays,traditional teaching method plays a dominant in College English class. Compared with traditional teaching method, cooperative learning can also create dynamic classes.By analyzing two classes of English Language Centre in the University of Stirling in U.K.,it is revealed how the teachers there have effectively applied cooperative learning to arouse their interest,providing communication environment and inproving their communication skills.It can be learned from the study how to use copperative learning to design and organize English class effectively.
