构建民族互嵌型社区,对于我国民族关系和谐发展、促进民族交往交流交融方面具有重大的价值。文本在探讨民族互嵌型社区的概念论争的基础上,提出构建民族互嵌型社区理论之维——居住空间的互嵌、组织网络的互嵌、文化接入的互嵌和认同的互嵌,并进一步分析了构建民族互嵌型社区的现实基础:空间基础、文化基础、社会基础和心理基础。

Building ethnic mosaic community is of significant value on harmonious ethnic relation and promotion of ethnic communication and fusion. The essay probes into the dabated concept of ethnic mosaic community, suggests constructing ethnic masaic community at theoretic dimension---inter-laid living space, inter-laid organization network, inter-laid cultural access and inter-laid self-identity and further analyses the realistic basis for construction of ethnic mosaic community： spatial basis; cultural basis, social basis and psychologic basis.
