近代天津工业化供水与水夫水铺的转型

The Industrial Water Supply of Tianjin and Change of Shuifu and Shuipu in Modern Times

受自然条件的影响,天津历史上就饱受供水问题的困扰。城内井水苦涩,且海河下游受海潮影响而水质不良,因此以上游"御河"为主的城市上游河流成为优良水源地,并由此也形成了以挑水售卖供应城区用水的模式。近代天津在遭受侵略者践踏的同时,也被推上了城市近代化的进程,标志之一就是工业化供水的产生。随着自来水进入城市生活,水铺和水夫也悄然转型,不仅融入到新的供水体系,还承担着重要任务。

Affected by the environmental conditions, Tianjin had a long history of water supply problem. Since the well water inside old city tastes bitter and astringent and the water in the main channel of Haihe River was often influenced by the salty tide rolls, the water from the ＂Royal River＂ was commonly considered the best water source of Tianjin city, which made the human labor water supply system formed. In the modem times, Tianjin suffered the invasion of the foreigners, but also was pushed to start modernization process. One of the most important signs was the appearance of industrialized water supply system. Along with the running water involved into urban life, Shuifu and Shuipu were integrated into the new water supply system and became one essential part of it.
