Reflection and Prospect on the Modernization of Chinese Traditional Political Culture

政治文化现代化是政治现代化的必然之势,也是政治社会发展的必要条件。从文化变迁的角度审思,中国传统政治文化是以儒家思想为变迁主体,以小农经济为变迁基础,以民本意识为变迁内核,以宗法纲常为变迁框架。只有坚持社会主义核心价值观的理论指导,积极拓展政治社会化渠道,扎实推进政治文化体制改革,培育公民的政治文化主体意识,才能为我国传统政治文化现代化转型铺平道路。

The modernization of the political culture is an inevitable trend of the political modernization,and it is also a necessary condition for the development of the political society. From the point of view of cultural changes,the Confucian political ideology is the main part of the developing pattern. The small-scale and self-sufficient peasant economy in feudal society is the developing foundation,and the royal power and people-oriented consciousness is the inner core. Besides,the patriarchal ethics and laws for subject order are the developing frame works. Only adhering to the guidance of the core socialist values,actively expanding the way of political socialization,steadily promoting the structural reform of political culture,and cultivating the subject consciousness of political culture of citizen,can we pave the way for the modernization of Chinese traditional political culture.
