Chinese Spirit--In Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People＇s War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist WarThe Chinese People＇s War against Japanese Aggression, lasting 14 years from 1931 to 1945, was an important part of the World Anti-Fascist War. The Chinese people were united to fight against their common enemy and heroes stood out of them, re- flecting the eternal sprit of the Chinese nation. They include, among others, Com- mander in Chief of the Eighth Route Army Zhu De, General Pei Zhouyu, KMT di- vision commander Chang Enduo and agent Chen Bin who stnlggled until death, Hu Chengzhou who witnessed the surrender ceremony, and Chinese chief justice Mei Ru＇ao who conducted trials against war criminals at the Far East Military Court.
