In railway transportation of special equipment and materials, we should fully use condition monitoring data and early warning information for deeision assistance to increase the efficiency of emergency handling. The architecture of the decision assistance system for emergency handling in railway transportation of special equipment and materials is designed, and the case base system, data base system and knowledge base system are studied and designed, providing technical reference for the development of decision assistance system.
