从《黄雀记》看苏童小说的新变

与苏童的早期作品相比,《黄雀记》在延续香椿树街成长主题的同时,叙事艺术上也出现了多处重要的变化。苏童淡化了之前小说一味"残酷"的主旨,将小说写作的重心转向与冷酷紧紧纠结在一起的温情与宽容。在小说时间的选择上,苏童把小说的时间背景从上世纪80年代延续到20世纪末,这是苏童试图准确表现当下现实生活的尝试。由于苏童对当下性的刻意追求,造成小说叙事时间的人为拉长,小说人物性格的刻画显得平面和单薄。从某种意义上讲,作为苏童小说个性标签的文学景观"香椿树街"已经不复存在。

Compared with Su Tongas early works, Yellowbird Story continues the theme of growth of Chinese won tree street, but the narrative skill has changed a lot. Su Tong desalinates the ＂cruelty＂ theme of his former novels, turning the center of the work into warmth and tolerance. On the choice of the time, Su Tong put the time background of the novel from the 80＇s of the 20^th century until the end of the century, this is his attempts to accurately illustrate the performance of the current reality of life. Because of his deliberately seeking to the present, the narrative time of the novel is intentionally elongated, and the characterization of the characters has become flat and thin. In a sense, the literary landscape of his personality label - Chinese Toon Tree Street - has passed out of existence.
