摘要
精神及神经疾病病因复杂,尽管传统的理论和方法仍然是精神及神经疾病发病的主要机制和指导防治的主要理论基础,但这些理论已经不能充分解释抗精神病药物和抗神经病药物临床效应滞后现象。笔者查阅了近年来国内外研究文献,通过对褪黑素治疗精神及神经疾病的临床研究进行归纳总结后发现,褪黑素(melatonin,MT)与焦虑症、抑郁症、精神分裂症、恐怖症、等精神类疾病,以及与老年性痴呆、癫痫发作、帕金森病等神经类疾病密切相关。其在探索新型高效抗精神及神经疾病药物中具有巨大的潜力。
Nerve mental illness has a complicated etiology. Although several hypotheses have been proposed, the etiology of this disorder is still unknown. In addition to the classical drugs that have been long proposed to the treatment of mental and neurological dis- eases, a strong association between melatonin and psychological disorder has been suggested in the light of several clinical and preclini- cal findings. In this review, some different hypotheses on pathophysiology mechanisms, the alterations of melatonin secretion and asso- ciated changes underlying mental and neurological diseases have been summarized. The causal relationships between mclatonin and mental and neurological diseases are strongly supported by the efficacy of innovative.
