略论突发事件新闻报道中的尺度把握

On News Report of Abrupt Affairs

上海外滩踩踏事件发生后,对复旦遇难女生的新闻报道一度成为舆论关注和争论的焦点。基于对事件本身及其引发舆论纷争的思考,文章分析了突发事件新闻报道引发关注和论战的原因,并就突发事件新闻报道中满足公众知情权与消费遇难者之间的尺度把握,提出区分知情需要与知情欲望界限、推进新闻专业主义、加快新闻伦理建设和相关法律法规建设、完善新闻从业人员职业规范等观点。

The coverage of a victim from Fudan University in the New Year Eve stampede in Shanghai＇s Bund has once been the focus of public attention and dispute. Based on the thoughts of the accident and the public dispute, this paper analyses the causes of public attention and dispute brought about by the coverage of ab- rupt affairs and offers some suggestions as to how to get the balance between satisfying the public~ right to know and consuming victims in abrupt affairs reports. They are： distinguishing the boundary between infor- mation need and information desire, promoting journalistic professionalism, constructing news ethics and re- lated taws and regulations, and improving the journalists＇professional norms.
