惟砚作田 上海博物馆藏砚精粹展

Inkslab Essences of Shanghai Museum

2015年7月17日—10月7日,建馆以来首次以砚为主题的展览＂惟砚作田——上海博物馆藏砚精粹展＂在上海博物馆四楼第三展厅举行。砚亦称研,是研墨的工具。作为极具中国特色的传统文房器用,在中华文化的发展与文明的传播中,起着不可替代的作用。砚的起源甚早,其前身为新石器时代的研磨具,而迄今所知最古的成型石砚出土于湖北云梦睡虎地秦墓。

Ancient inkslabs of various dynasties, which are collected by Shanghai Museum, feature a wide category. Shanghai Museum is especially characterized by literati inscription inkslabs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, recording inkslabs and inkslabs made by modern master Chen Duanyou. This exhibition showcases these superb masterpieces and presents development context of inkslab history.
