＂坚金砺乃利,玉琢器乃成＂。玉器自古以来便是礼仪用具和装饰用品,作为美好物品的标志以及君子风范的象征。玉石经工匠巧手琢磨,自静中观造化,按料取材,因材施艺,将玉石制成精美绝伦的工艺品而流传千年。19世纪初,上海作为东西文化的融合交汇之处,苏州扬州等周边地区的雕刻艺人大量涌入,形成了中国独特的玉雕流派。
