摘要
《快乐王子》是奥斯卡·王尔德创作的经典童话。据不完全统计,在我国已出现了20多个汉译本。比较1909年周作人译本、1948年巴金译本和2005年苏福忠、张敏的译本,可以得出结论,巴金和苏、张较好地把握了各自时代的时间维度的翻译生态环境,并在空间维度上选择了切适性的翻译策略和方法,使译文与社会主流的语言、文化、交际维度的风格相一致,因而译本具有旺盛的生命力。而周作人尽管适应空间维度的翻译生态环境,但是没有把握时间维度的翻译生态环境,其译本惨遭淘汰。
Happy Prince,Oscar Wilde's masterpiece,is a classic fairy tale. According to statistics,China has more than 20 Chinese translation versions. Comparing Zhou Zuoren's version in 1909,Ba Jin's in 1948,and Su Fuzhong Zhang Min's in 2005,we can draw the conclusion that Ba's and Su Zhang's versions survive very well,because they not only fitted the ecological environment of translation in time dimension of their times,but also chose the suitable translation strategies and methods for the eco-environment in the space dimension,making the translation versions consistent with the styles of language,culture,and communication in the social mainstream. However,Zhou's version faded,because Zhou adapted to the translational eco-environment in space dimension,rather than the eco-environment in time dimension.
