Explorations on Cognitive Contrastive Linguistics

摘要本文分别从西方哲学和语言学这两个学科的发展简史来论证认知语言学(CL)的前沿性,强调从后现代哲学的"体验人本观"角度来探索语言表达背后的认知机制。新世纪的对比语言学也需要CL这一前沿理论,以其为基础对比汉英两种语言,发现它们在认知机制上的同与异,这样才能真正实现"透过语言现象看语言背后的认知方式"的研究目标。本文还以汉英语中"一词两反义"为例进行了对比研究。 The present paper attempts to illustrate the advancement of Cognitive Linguistics（CL） with a brief review of histories of Western philosophy and linguistics respectively, with an emphasis on the exploration of cognitive mech- anism behind expressions from the viewpoint of “Embodied Humanism” of Post-modernist Philosophy. Cognitive Cont- rastive Linguistics in the 21 Century also needs this frontier CL theory ,based on which the Chinese and English Lan- guages are compared and contrasted, with an attempt to find the common and different cognitive mechanisms, to a- chieve the aim of “approaching cognitive strategies behind language via expressions”. The author has also taken as an example “Ambivalent Words” in the Chinese and English Languages for contrastive studies.
