The Operation of Agricultural Cooperatives in Thailand and Its Experience

农业合作社的组建和运作是世界各国解决农村问题的重要手段之一。在现代化进程中,泰国政府为促进农业的发展,积极倡导组建了4千多家农业合作社。泰国的农业合作社在泰国农业经济的发展过程中起到了非常重要的作用。泰国的农业合作社在选种、农业技术、廉价化肥的提供、产品的深加工以及产品的销售等方面都给予社员很大的帮助。此外,泰国的农业合作社在利益的分配方面也形成了一套比较完善的制度,使得农业合作社能够保持长久的发展。

The formation and operation of agricultural cooperatives around the world is one of important means to solve rural problems. During the modernization process,the government of Thailand has formatted more than four thousands agricultural cooperatives in order to promote the development of agriculture. Thailand's agricultural cooperatives have played a very important role in the development process of the agricultural economy of Thailand. Thai agricultural cooperatives actively participate in seed selection,technical support,and fertilizer,deep processing of products as well as product sales and other fields. Thailand's agricultural cooperatives have formed a relatively complete system in the distribution of benefits. China and Thailand have a lot rural population. Although China and Thailand has a huge difference in the form of land ownership,some experience of Thailand is worth to learn from China.
