摘要
自由作为西方现代性的核心价值,在近代以来的中国思想界产生了巨大影响,给儒家思想带来了严重挑战,而现代新儒家对此做出了有力回应:一方面,回应了自黑格尔以来中西方对儒家不讲自由的质疑,论证了孔子思想与西方个人自由精神的相容及相异之处,辨析了儒家心性自由与康德自由意志理论的关系,阐明了儒家自由观的特质;另一方面,回应了儒学被看成是封建专制思想的挑战,挺立了儒家士人的自由人格形象。现代新儒家通过对儒家自由精神的阐释、吸收西方自由精神的内容,提出了一种不同于西方自由主义的新自由观,推进了儒学的现代转型。
free as the core value of the western modernity, in modern times in the Chinese ideologicalcircle produced great influence, has brought serious challenges to Confucianism, and the modern NeoConfucianism made this strong response: on the one hand, responded to the since Hegel in the west ofthe Confucian do not speak the question of freedom and compatibility proves that Confucius thought andthe western individual freedom spirit and differences, analysis of the relationship between Confucian mindfree and Kant's free will theory, expounds the characteristics of Confucian concept of freedom; on theother hand, responded to the Confucianism is regarded as the challenge of feudal autocracy, stand theConfucian scholars' freedom of personality image. Through the interpretation of the free spirit ofConfucianism and the contents of the western free spirit, the modern Neo Confucianism proposed a newconcept of freedom, which is different from the western liberalism, and promoted the moderntransformation of Confucianism.
