话剧《白鹿原》改编自陈忠实的同名小说,是北京人艺话剧作品中不多见的采用方言的作品,这就让这部作品的地域特色尤其突出,本文主要通过探讨这部话剧作品如何呈现西部地域特色,如何解读西部符号与西部人文精神气质之间的关系。

The drama White Deer Plain was revised from the novel of the same name by Chen Zhongshi .It is one of the few works presented in local dialects by Beijing People＇s Art Theatre .The Guanzhong dialect used in the dra-ma highlights the regional characteristics in Western China .This paper mainly analyzes how the regional character-istics are presented and how the relationship between western symbols and western humanistic spirit are illustrated .
