This paper introduces the system principle ,the composing, the function ,occurring faults and elimina-tion methods of TCAS II （ traffic collision avoidance system） as an example of A320 aircraft . We hope that it can enhance the understanding of the TCAS II system and contributes design and maintenance of the TCAS II system.
