A Study of the Different Editions of Against Method

费耶阿本德反复修改《反对方法》,致使有六种不同版本。本文比较了这六种版本,并对其差异的原因进行初步探讨和分析,从中总结出费耶阿本德在思想方面的五种明显变化趋势:去拉卡托斯化,去波普尔化,扩充伽利略历史案例的研究,弱化对科学和理性的抨击,删减烦琐的科学细节、加强哲学论证。

Feyerabend rewrote Against Method many times, so the book has six editions. This article studies how and why the six editions are differ- ent. It concludes that the five main trends in the development of Feyerabend＇s thooughts are： reducing the contents of Lakatos, decreasing the con- tents of Popper, expanding Galilei＇s case, weakening the attack on science and reason, and strengthening the philosophical argument.
