This paper introduces the basic composition of a stiffness tester using for the internal parallel movinggear reducer, and stiffness testing methods. It describes the hardware design of the tester＇ s measurement-con-trol system and the measurement-control software designed by LabVIEW. With an internal parallel moving gearreducer of independent research and development as the research object, stiffness test is conducted by the stiff-ness tester.
