中外手语词典述评及启示

A Review of Chinese and Foreign Sign Language Dictionaries

随着手语语言学地位的确立,手语词典编纂的历史、实践和理论理应纳入辞书学和语言学的研究范畴。从载体和编写方式来看,手语词典经历了传统纸质词典、网络在线词典(也叫手语词汇语料库)两个发展阶段。所有的手语词典都有一些不同于有声语言词典的共性特点,而其内部差异则主要体现在词典编写的目的、手语词的呈现方式和词条的标注信息等方面。了解国外手语词典情况能更好地指导我国的手语词典编纂工作和手语词汇语料库建设工作。

With the establishment of the linguistics status of sign language,the history,practice and theory of compiling dictionaries of sign language should be included in the studies of linguistics and lexicography. Based on their carrier and compilation methods,sign language dictionaries have undergone two stages of development,the traditional print dictionary and the online dictionary( also known as the sign vocabulary corpus). All sign language dictionaries have characteristics unique of those of the common audio language dictionaries,which are mainly reflected in the purpose of dictionary compilation,the mode of sign word entry presentation,and the tagging of entry information. A good understanding of sign language dictionaries in other countries can guide the compilation of such dictionaries and the construction of the sign language corpus in China.
