摘要
本文以高级水平的英语学习者为研究对象,采取定量与定性相结合的研究方法,借助Sheorey和Mokhtari研制的阅读策略调查表(SORS),考证了读者在电脑屏幕和纸质两种不同的阅读介质下,阅读策略使用的差异,包括元认知策略、认知策略以及支持策略。此外,研究者还通过态度访谈及观察的方法,分析阅读者由于阅读介质的改变所采取的特殊阅读策略,最后对英语阅读教学提出相关建议。
This paper examined the effect of different reading media,namely computer screen and paper,on reading strategy use both in quantitative and qualitative approaches. By adopting the Survey of Reading Strategies( SORS) invented by Sheorey and Mokhtari,the researcher compared the medium effect on utilization of metacognitive strategies,cognitive strategies and supporting strategies. Meanwhile by means of observation and interview,the researcher looked further on those strategies triggered by new reading medium,namely computer screen. Some pedagogical suggestions were provided in the end.
