海上丝绸之路是适应经济全球化时代要求的流通之路,它应当破除古代"丝绸之路"的界限,以中国为中心,通往有流通需求的任何国家,为中国及其贸易伙伴在货物和服务贸易的各个领域中各种生产要素的流动提供一个罗密结构的"丝绸路网"。海上丝绸之路是我国经济社会发展战略的战略空间,它是我国开放政策的继续、和平发展战略的体现,它顺应构建和谐海洋的时代需求。海上丝绸之路是东方大国的复兴之路,它应当担负起传播中华文化、生态文明和寻求公道、建立秩序的重任。
