一种彩色图像边缘检测方法的研究

A Study of Method for the Colored Image Edge Detection

针对彩色图像,提出了一种新的图像边缘检测方法。首先求得彩色图像的3个分量的梯度图像,将这3个梯度图像相加得到原图像的梯度图像,然后将梯度图像与原图像的灰度图像进行叠加,最后使用Canny算子对叠加图像进行边缘检测。实验结果表明,采用该方法对较大、平滑的彩色图像进行边缘检测,效果较好。

For colored image, this paper proposes a new method of color image edge detection. First, get the gradient image of the three components R, G, B of colored image, which is calculated by using the sum of the gradient image of component, then put the gradient image superposition with the gray image of original im- age, finally using Canny operator for edge detection. The experimental results show that the method detects large, smooth color image edge better.
