摘要
Halliday提出的语法隐喻是系统功能语言学理论中的重要组成部分,主要包含概念语法隐喻(简称概念隐喻)和人际语法隐喻(简称人际隐喻),这是一种类型学的描述方式。本研究尝试从评价理论中的级差系统这一拓扑学视角探讨概念隐喻和人际隐喻中的渐进性问题。研究发现,级差系统的语势体现在概念隐喻的过程转换和人际隐喻中的语气转换中,级差系统的聚焦则反映在概念隐喻的名词化和人际隐喻的情态之中。
As the major part in Systemic Functional Lin- guistics, Halliday's grammatical metaphor consists of ide- ational metaphor and interpersonal metaphor, and this way of classification represents a typological description. The present research makes an attempt to investigate the cline in ideational metaphor and interpersonal metaphor in terms of Appraisal System from the perspective of topolo- gy. It is therefore noted that the force in graduation is re- aiized in process-transferring of ideational metaphor and mood-transferring of interpersonal metaphor, and the focus in graduation is reflected in nominalization of ideational metaphor and modalitv of interpersonal metaohor.
