摘要
口译的职业化让角色成为译员行为准则的核心。在对抗性法庭口译中,源于不同期待的角色冲突为译员带来了巨大压力。本文以法庭译员Camayd-Freixas的"声明"为例,揭示了法庭口译中不可避免的角色冲突,从角色混同、角色内冲突、角色间冲突、角色与人格冲突等方面加以分析,并在此基础上,提出了克服角色冲突、提高译员职业化水平的几点建议。
The notion of role is pivotal to understanding the performance of professional interpreters. Arising from dif- ferent expectations in the adversarial scenarios, role con- flicts pose main stresses for court interpreters. The State- ment, drawn by Dr. Erik Camayd-Freixas after interpreting at a processing of illegal aliens, opens a window for role conflicts. Based on an analysis of such conflicts ,this paper proposes several points to resolve them and make inter- preters more professional in legal settings.
