抗战时期,尽管处于战时特殊环境,党和陕甘宁边区政府依然高度重视边区煤炭开采业的发展,也制订了一系列符合时代需要的煤炭开采政策,对边区的煤炭进行了有效地开采和利用,使其更好地服务于抗战和人民生产生活需要。同时,还推动了边区工业和经济建设的发展以及地质科技工作的起步。

Though it was a special time, The CPC and the government of Shanxi - Gansu - Ningxia border region put the development of coal mining industry in a important position during the anti-Japanese war period. They made a series of coal mining policies in line with the needs of the times, in order to effective exploitation and utilization and to be sured serviced the anti-Japanese war and production and living for people well. Meanwhile, it promoted the in- dustry and Economic development. Also,it promoted the the start work of geological science and technology.
