溃疡性结肠炎是一种病因不明的慢性反复发作的结直肠炎症性病变,亦称慢性非特异性溃疡性结肠炎,属中医学"泄泻""痢疾""肠澼"等范畴。病变多以溃疡为主,局限于黏膜层,临床上以腹泻、黏液脓血便、腹痛等肠道症状为主要表现,兼见多种全身症状。此病病情缠绵难愈,病程较长,一定程度上影响了人们的生理和心理健康,且在病变涉及所有大肠时有恶变的机率,然而祖国医学在其治疗方面有着丰硕的经验,论述如下。

Ulcerative colitis is a kind of unknown lesions of chronic recurrent colitis, and also known as chronic nonspecific ulcerative colitis, which was classified into the Xiexie, Liji and Changpi category. The lesions were mostly based on the ulcer, which was confined to the mucosal layer. There are diarrhea, purulent stools, abdominal pain, other gastrointestinal symptoms and a variety of systemic symptoms as the main performance in clinic.
