摘要
本文以美国汉语学习者为研究对象,通过书面语篇补全测试考察了语言水平、语言环境与汉语学习者感谢言语行为语用能力发展之间的关系。研究发现:(1)与初级汉语学习者相比,高级学习者感谢策略的使用更接近于汉语母语者;(2)初级学习者似乎更容易将母语的感谢策略迁移到汉语中;(3)汉语学习者的语用能力并没有随着他们在目的语环境居住时间的增加而有显著的提高。最后,本文对研究结果进行了讨论并强调了语用教学的重要性。
This study investigates the effects of overall L2 proficiency and lengths of residence abroad on American learners' acquisition of Chinese expressions of gratitude by means of written discourse completion tests.The results show that a)high-proficiency learners converge more toward native speakers than low-level students in gratitude realization;b)low-level learners seem more likely to display negative pragmatic transfer in their use of thanking strategies;c)learners with longer stay in the target language environment do not display more target-like performances in expressing gratitude than those with shorter stay.Finally,this study proposes implications regarding the instruction of pragmatics based on the findings.
