The Design and Study of Implanted Artificial Anus and Its Application

摘要 为改善、提高因直肠癌而行肛门切除患者和患严重肛门失禁患者的生存能力和生活质量,我们设计了一种模拟人体肛门功能的机械装置——植入式人造肛门(implanted artificial anus,IAA)。该装置由人工肛垫、连接盘、微型液泵组成,能够通过手术植入盆腔肛门部位。人工肛垫由钛合金支架和医用硅胶液囊组成,微型液压泵体积适于植入体内。微型泵安装了体外无线遥控装置。经测试,IAA的制作达到了设计要求,通过遥控微型泵,使人工肛垫能够自如闭合、开放,从而达到控制排便,治疗失禁的目的,再现自然肛门的功能。 To improve the viability and quality of life of patients who had their anus removed because of rectal cancer or those who have severe fecal incontinence,we designed a mechanical device that imitates the functions of natural anus. The artificial anus was composed of artificial anal pads,connecting loop,and miniaturized liquid pump,which was implanted in the pelvis as a substitute for the anus. This design was implemented successfully. The artificial anal pads had two parts: the support frame made from titanium alloy and the sacs made from silica gel for medical use. The liquid pump was miniaturized so that it was small enough to be implanted into the body and was operated by a wireless remote controller in vitro. The mechanism of IAA is tested and proves to meet the standard of the design and can be implanted into the body. By controlling the miniaturized liquid pump,the artificial anal pads are opened and closed freely so that the patients can control over their defecation and overcome the incontinence. The IAA works well as the natural anus.
