试论“绿色大学”建设的理念与实践——以清华大学为中心的考察

On Green University: Eco-civilization Ideas And Practice In China——With a Focus On Tsinghua University

为贯彻落实科教兴国和可持续发展战略,清华大学提出了建设"绿色大学"的构想,强调面向国家和社会需求,围绕绿色人才培养和绿色科技研发,将可持续发展和环境保护的理念落实到大学的各项活动中、融入到大学教育的全过程。十余年来,在国家和地方的大力支持下,在社会各界的热心帮助下,清华大学不断探索和践行绿色大学理念,丰富和发展绿色大学的内涵,在开展"绿色教育"、实施"绿色科技"和建设"绿色校园"方面取得了良好成效,发挥了示范带动作用,努力促进国家生态文明建设和可持续发展事业。

In accordance with the strategy of sustainable development and that of invigorating the country through science, technology and education, Tsinghua University conceived the idea of ＂green university＂ in the 1990s. To meet the strategic demands of the country, Tsinghua has developed green professionals and undertaken green research, integrating sustainable development and environment pro- tection into educational practice. In the past ten years, backed by the government and social circles, Tsinghua has explored the idea of ＂green university＂ relentlessly, put it into practice, expanded it, and implemented ＂green-oriented education＂, ＂green science and technology＂ and ＂green campus＂. The success achieved by Tsinghua set an example for Chinese higher education and promoted the construc- tion and permanent development of eco-civilization in China.
