Buck to understand the source text. Chinese and foreign translators have their respective advantages and strengths in translating Chinese literary works. Chinese translators are good at understanding the source text and the culture behind it,while foreign translators are good at expressing ideas in the target language. Chinese- foreign joint translation allows both Chinese and foreign translators to give full play to their strengths and thus guarantee the quality of translation,and may constitute an effective way of globalizing the Chinese culture under the current situation.
