The writer translated parts of Wanting,written by Richard Flanagan. The translator applied many translation strategies：the translation of Zeugma and metaphor and translation of multi- languages,which provided the translator an opportunity to apply the translation strategies into actual practice,and in turn enabled the translator to have a better grasp of the theories,and to improve the quality of translation.
