The Landscape Design and Expression Based on the Neo-regionalism——Case on Changde Garden

在地域文化被重视和新地域主义渐渐崛起的今天,我们应当从地域特点与场所精神出发,寻求符合场所精神的现代设计方式。论文以武汉国际园林博览会常德园的设计为例,在对地域文化诸要素分析的基础上,选择具有代表性的地域文化景观要素,结合场地特征,运用新地域主义的表现手法,重构具有常德地域特色的文化景观园林。

Nowadays, local culture vaiue attracts more people＇ s attention, and the new regionalism is rising gradually, so we should seek the modern design method to conform to the place spirit, based on the local characteristics. The paper takes the design of Changde Garden in Wuhan International Garden Expo for example, chooses typical cultural elements to create landscape spaces with the local characteristic based on the analysis of key elements of local culture; rebuilds a eultural landscape garden with the expression methods of new regionalism, combined with site conditions.
