On Data Delivery over Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

摘要 基于车载自组织网络(Vehicular Ad Hoc Network,VANET)的数据传递为VANET应用提供数据传输服务,是车辆主动安全、城市生活服务、应急救援等应用不可或缺的组成部分。然而,由于网络拓扑变化快、网络分区频繁、信道容量有限,VANET数据传递面临诸多挑战。文章分析了VANET的特点,指出了影响VANET数据传递的主要因素,进而综述了已有的VANET数据传递技术,包括VANET数据传递的基本实现方法和提高数据传递能力的优化策略。 Data delivery provided data transmission services for various applications over Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). In particular, it was an indispensable component in the vehicle active safety systems, urban life services, and emergency rescue applications. However, it faced such challenges as brought by the rapid changing of network topology, frequent network partitions, and the limited wireless channel capacity. The paper analyzed the characteristics of VANETs, pointed out the main influencing factors in the VANET data delivery, and then reviewed the existing technologies, including the basic implementation approaches and the optimization strategies for improving the capabilities of data delivery.
