基于关键词分析的国内英语写作策略研究热点分析

A Survey of the Studies of Domestic ESL Writing Strategies:A Keyword-based Bibliometric and Multivariate Analysis

为了更好地了解国内有关英语写作策略研究的发展和成长轨迹,利用中国知网数据库以"英语"和"写作策略"为主题词对所有在录期刊文章检索,在检索到1999年-2014年这15年期间731篇文章中1297个关键词进行频次统计和分组,然后共提取41个核心关键词,构建关键词共现矩阵;最后利用SPSS对关键词共现矩阵分别进行聚类分析和多维尺度分析,以期发现国内英语写作策略研究的关注重点和研究动态。此外,基于关键词的共现分析可以为英语写作策略知识体系的建构和解析提供一种新的视角,展示研究领域变迁,了解和熟悉该研究领域热点。

This paper aims to investigate the core themes of ESL writing research by analyzing the keywords of all published pa -pers extracted from the CNKI database .It also aims to find out the evolution and future research trends of ESL writing strategies . Unlike previous review papers which relied heavily on the qualitative observations and reflections of the authors , the paper employs a combination of bibliometric and multivariate methods to investigate keywords and co -word occurrences of keywords .The study i-dentifies the core themes centered on ESL writing in secondary schools and institutions of higher learning , the relationship between ESL writing and metacognition , corpus-based writing, ESL writing evaluation and .In addition, it also reveals that the research method of empirical studies of ESL writing strategies has become more popular in recent years among researchers .The main contri-bution of this paper is the use of a bibliometric and multivariate combined analysis to analyze 1297 keywords in the 731 articles pub-lished between 1999 and 2014 .This paper offers a survey of studies of ESL writing strategies in China , and sheds new light on the ESL writing research .
