Since Ming and Qing Dynasty,the prosperity of economy and trade in Huizhou lead to the prosperity of architectural culture and furniture art.During the end of Qing Dynasty and the early period of the Republic of China,there was a kind of unique furniture art named red lacquer furniture,it is a kind of folk furniture that contains the features of architecture,sculpture,painting,lacquer,m etal craft,and it was well-welcomed during that time.This article contains discussion of one typical red lacquer wardrobe,and to analysis the history,culture and artistic value of red lacquer furniture.
