烟筒山镇碱场膨润土矿床赋存于白垩系下统营城子组流纹岩顶部及安山岩底部的层间接触带部位,为后期热液蚀变层控型矿床。矿石可用于机械铸造和干燥剂等。矿石质量较好,易选,易加工并且开发经济效益好。因此,总结该矿床地质特征,对区域找矿具有指导意义。

Jianchang bentonite deposit of Yantongshan Town occurred in the lower Cretaceous Yingchengzi Formation, the contact zone between rhyolite top and andesite bottom layer, and it is a stratabound deposit of the late hydrothermal alteration. Ores can be used for mechanical casting and drying, etc. Ore quality is good, easy to ore dressing and processing, meanwhile ore has good economic benefits of development. Therefore, the geological features of the ore deposit are summarized, and it has the guiding signiifcance for the regional prospecting.
